Off since March 11, NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” returned with an original Saturday night.

The episode, which featured host Louis CK and musical guest The Chainsmokers, dipped in the overnight ratings.

Citing metered market data, NBC says the episode drew a 4.5 overnight household rating. It drew a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating in the 25 markets with local people meters.

While up from the April 2016 average, the numbers trail the 4.8 household rating and 2.2 adults 18-49 rating drawn by the previous episode. That episode featured Scarlett Johansson and Lorde.

Stressing the upside of the number, NBC notes that “SNL” currently ties as the week’s #3 entertainment program in the local adults 18-49 column (with “Empire” and “Modern Family”). Only “The Big Bang Theory” and “The Voice” drew bigger numbers.
