Seahawks vs. Patriots Game Posts Best Primetime NFL Ratings Since Week 1

SNF [NBC]

Sunday’s Super Bowl XLIX rematch predictably posted strong ratings.

Citing metered market data, NBC says Sunday’s Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots game drew a 14.3 overnight household rating.

The number was the best drawn by a primetime NFL game since the week one contest between the New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals. It, meanwhile, was the best for a Week 10 Sunday Night Football game since the Patriots vs. Jets game drew a 14.5 in 2011.

Seattle and Boston obviously ranked as the top markets; NBC notes that the game drew a 48.2 in Seattle and a 34.9 in Boston.
