L+SD Ratings: “American Horror Story: Roanoke” Dips Against Presidential Debate

Wednesday’s “American Horror Story: Roanoke” featured a heavily hyped twist. It also aired against the final presidential debate of the 2016 campaign.

When it comes to live+same-day viewership, the latter factor evidently made a bigger impact.

According to L+SD ratings data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s “AHS” drew a 1.36 adults 18-49 rating and 2.48 million total viewers. Last week’s episode drew a 1.46 and 2.82 million.

Despite the week-to-week decline, the numbers are still strong by cable standards. They, moreover, only reflect a portion of the eventual audience that will watch this week’s “American Horror Story.”

The series has been enjoying monster gains from DVR and multi-platform viewing.
