Ratings: AMC’s “Fear The Walking Dead” Slips This Week

Fear The Walking Dead [AMC]

Sunday’s “Fear The Walking Dead” endured week-to-week declines from last week’s midseason premiere.

The declines were slight, but insofar as last week’s episode set series lows, this week’s numbers represent new lows for the second-year AMC series.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “FTWD” drew a 1.59 adults 18-49 rating and 3.66 million total viewers. The numbers trail the 1.62 and 3.86 million viewership tally garnered by last week’s episode.

Sunday’s “Fear The Walking Dead” was cable’s #2 original program in both columns; only the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards fared better.

The MTV awards, it should be noted, aired across 11 networks. No single iteration drew as many total viewers as “Fear The Walking Dead.” Only the home MTV broadcast topped AMC’s series in adults 18-49.
