Rihanna’s “Love On The Brain” Receiving Rhythmic Airplay In Las Vegas

As reports – including a Tweet from Philadelphia radio DJ Mike Adam – emerge suggesting it will be Rihanna’s next “ANTI” single, “Love On The Brain” is receiving airplay on a Las Vegas rhythmic station.

According to Mediabase, Hot 97.5 played the song 15 times during the seven days between August 2 and 8. It did not play the song at all during the prior seven-day period.

The identity of the next “ANTI” single has been the source of much discussion. Indications earlier this summer actually suggested it would be “Sex With Me.” In addition to receiving substantial airplay from some major urban and rhythmic stations, “Sex With Me” was highlighted in one of Def Jam’s weekly radio recaps.

Now, however, signs are pointing to “Love On The Brain” being the single — at least at the pop and rhythmic formats.

Whatever the selection may be, it will be the follow-up to Rihanna’s multi-format release “Needed Me.”
