RedOne, Enrique, R. City, Serayah & Shaggy’s “Don’t You Need Somebody” Going Top 40 at Pop Radio

RedOne’s stacked “Don’t You Need Somebody” collaboration is set to claim a Top 40 position on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

The song, which features Enrique Iglesias, R. City, Serayah and Shaggy, received 916 spins during the first six days of the June 19-25 tracking week. Up 169.4% from the mark at this point last week, the tally slots “Don’t You Need Somebody” at #40 on Mediabase’s building chart.

Absent an imminent threat from below, “Don’t You Need Somebody” should have no trouble retaining its Top 40 position through the close of tracking.

But even if a surprise threat did emerge, “Don’t You Need Somebody” could slip two places and still reach the Top 40 on this week’s official chart. ZAYN’s building #13 “PILLOWTALK” and Lukas Graham’s building #18 “7 Years” are both set to be removed as recurrents this week, which means all songs below #18 on the building chart will rise by two places on the final chart.

Drake’s “Too Good (featuring Rihanna),” currently #39 on the building chart, is also on track for a Top 40 position on this week’s official chart. Ariana Grande’s “Into You,” which is #42 on building, is a safe bet for an official Top 40 position as well.
