Taylor Swift’s “New Romantics” Climbs Into Top 50 on US iTunes Sales Chart

Tuesday morning, Taylor Swift’s “New Romantics” was not even inside the Top 100 on the US iTunes sales chart.

As of 6:45PM ET Wednesday, the seventh “1989” single is in the Top 50.

The song, which has been rising steadily over the past two days, is currently #50 on the all-genre chart.

The sales ascent comes as “New Romantics” continues its eruption at radio.

Based on airplay received during the first three days of the February 28-March 5 tracking week, the single is up to #23 on Mediabase’s building hot adult contemporary chart and #24 on the building pop chart. Its spin counts are more than four times what they were at this point last week.
