Travi$ Scott’s “Antidote” Leading At Rhythmic Radio

Travis Scott [NBC]

With the first two days of the December 20-26 tracking week in the book, Travi$ Scott’s “Antidote” is leading the race for #1 on Mediabase’s rhythmic radio airplay chart.

Scott’s breakthrough hit received 1,627 plays during the tracking week’s first two days. Up 17.6% from last week’s mark, the count positions “Antidote” at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.

Post Malone’s “White Iverson,” which led this past week’s official chart, is down to #2 on the listing. It received 1,624 spins during the tracking week’s first few days (-4.0%).

While “Antidote” only holds a very slim lead at the moment, the tide appears to be shifting in his favor. It is gaining airplay this week, while “White Iverson” is falling.

Despite “Antidote”‘s present advantage, one should not treat a #1 finish as guaranteed. The week is still very young, and the impact of holiday and year-end playlists can always throw the chart for a curve.

Based on the week’s initial airplay levels, Travi$ Scott nonetheless has reason to be optimistic about this week’s final outcome.
