Ratings: “Homeland” Sinks, “The Affair” Up in Demo, Down Slightly in Viewers

Positioned against Game 5 of the World Series in addition to its usual Sunday Night Football and “The Walking Dead” competition, Sunday’s “Homeland” suffered sizable losses in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

The episode, which was the fifth of the current season, posted a 0.38 adults 18-49 rating with 1.304 million viewers. Both numbers trail those of last week’s broadcast, which attained a 0.56 rating and 1.630 million total audience members.

Leading out of “Homeland,” and subject to the last half hour of AMC’s extended “The Walking Dead,” “The Affair” had mixed results. It rose from a 0.23 to a 0.27 in adults 18-49 but fell in total viewership.

This week’s “The Affair” drew 859,000 total viewers. Last week’s episode reached 869,000.
