Selena Gomez Releases Audio for “Me & The Rhythm” (Listen Now)

The release of “Revival” is now just one week away.

To accelerate the hype for her fifth album (second sans The Scene), Gomez shared album track “Me & The Rhythm.”

Like official singles “Good For You (featuring A$AP Rocky)” and “Same Old Love,” the song finds Gomez adhering to a restrained, breathy, yet immensely inviting vocal approach.

Unlike those singles, it boasts punchy, forceful, club-oriented production. Whereas “Good For You” and “Same Old Love” relied on a moodier, more linear feel, “Me & The Rhythm” takes a more dynamic approach. Its verses build to soaring choruses; it also features a semi-spoken breakdown.

The result is a track that, while perhaps not as intimately engaging as “Good For You,” is more likely to inspire dancing.
