X Ambassadors (NBC)

X Ambassadors’ “Renegades” spent eleven weeks atop the alternative airplay chart, holds a Top 5 position at hot adult contemporary and is soaring at pop.

It is not, however, merely successful in terms of radio activity. The song has also been generating impressive interest on the sales front.

This past week, it crossed the 800,000 mark in the United States.

According to Nielsen Music, “Renegades” sold 36,995 US copies during the September 18-24 tracking week. That brought the single’s cumulative US total to 817,397.

The song already holds a gold certification under the RIAA’s digital singles program. It is surely en route to a platinum distinction.
