Hot 100: One Direction Re-Enters Top 15; Shawn Mendes Goes Top 20

One Direction [ABC]

Powered by the release of its official music video (and a subsequent sales boost) and growing radio airplay, One Direction’s “Drag Me Down” re-enters the Top 15 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.

Up seventeen places, the song grabs the #14 on this week’s edition of the all-encompassing chart.

The song, which debuted at #3 on the strength of the year’s biggest sales week for a new single, spent the two most recent weeks outside of the Top 15 (and Top 25).

— Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” also makes a big leap this week. Thanks to sizable sales and radio gains, it jumps twelve places to a new peak of #20.
