Leona Lewis’ “Thunder” Enjoys 75% Sales Increase, Hits Top 30 at AC

While Leona Lewis’ “Thunder” holds steady at #33 on the Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart (albeit with a bullet), it continues its ascent on the adult contemporary listing.

It also enjoys a substantial week-over-week sales increase.

Spun 66 times during the August 16-22 tracking week, “Thunder” rises four places to #30 on the AC chart. It is the format’s lone addition to the Top 30 this week.

Per Nielsen Music, “Thunder” drove 1,346 paid US downloads during the August 14-20 sales tracking week. Up 75% from last week’s total, the weekly count brings the song’s US cume to 4,920.

— The aforementioned #33 position at Hot AC radio comes courtesy the song’s 558 tracking week spins. It received 463 during the previous seven-day period.
