Leona Lewis, Selena Gomez, Nate Ruess Reach Hot AC Radio’s Top 40

Leona Lewis’ “Thunder,” which came within striking distance of the Top 40 on last week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart, officially makes the leap this week.

Spun 463 times during the August 9-15 tracking week (+146), “Thunder” jumps nine places to #33. It is the highest-charting of the week’s three new Top 40 entries.

Selena Gomez’ “Good For You (featuring A$AP Rocky)” follows at #36. Up five places, the song grabs #36 on the strength of 369 tracking week spins (+29).

“Good For You” is concurrently positioned inside the Top 5 at pop and Top 20 at rhythmic.

Nate Ruess’ “Great Big Storm” is the last of this week’s Top 40 additions at Hot AC. It rises seven places to #37 thanks to its 328 weekly plays (+69).
