A Great Big World’s “Hold Each Other (featuring Futuristic),” which tied as this past week’s most-added song, is already one of the hot adult contemporary’s forty most-played tracks.

Spun 371 times during the July 26-August 1 tracking week (+314), it grabs the #37 position on this week’s Mediabase Hot AC chart. It ranked as last week’s 68th-most-played Hot AC entry.

R. City’s surging “Locked Away (featuring Adam Levine)” also goes Top 40 at Hot AC. It rises thirteen places to #38 on the strength of its 350 tracking week spins (+215).

— New to the weekly Top 50 are Nate Ruess’ “Great Big Storm” and Leona Lewis’ “Thunder.” Ruess’ track rises six places to #46 on the strength of its 203 weekly spins (+70). Lewis’ “Thunder,” which tied the aforementioned “Hold Each Other” as the most-added track, earns #50 courtesy its 159 weekly plays (+129). It was #82 last week.
