The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” returns to the top of Mediabase’s hot adult contemporary radio add board.

After ceding the throne to Demi Lovato’s “Cool for the Summer” last week, “Can’t Feel My Face” reclaims the format’s most added distinction this week. It scored pickups from another 21 monitored Hot AC stations.

The strong adds week comes as “Face” continues soaring up the airplay chart. Powered by the format’s greatest weekly airplay gain, it reached #17 on this weekend’s official Hot AC airplay chart.

While it does not repeat as the format’s most added song, Lovato’s “Summer” still received immense support this week. Added by 19 stations, the song ranks as Hot AC’s second-most added track this week.

OMI’s “Cheerleader” follows on the strength of its 13 adds, while a total of 10 pickups earns Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” the week’s fourth-most added distinction. With 8 adds each, X Ambassadors’ “Renegades,” Charlie Puth’s “Marvin Gaye (featuring Meghan Trainor)” and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness’ “Cecilia and the Satellite” tie for fifth-most added.

Other notable Hot AC options: Nico & Vinz’ “That’s How You Know (featuring Bebe Rexa and Kid Ink)” (5 adds, 8th-most added), Sam Smith’s “Like I Can” (5 adds, 8th-most added), U2’s “Song for Someone” (5 adds, 8th-most added), ZZ Ward’s “Love 3X” (5 adds, 8th-most added).
