OMI’s “Cheerleader” Goes Top 5 as Pop Radio’s Second-Greatest Gainer

A whopping week-over-week spin gain of 2,363 powers OMI’s smash “Cheerleader” to the #3 position on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart.

According to Mediabase, “Cheerleader” enjoys a three place rise thanks to the ~14,754 spins it received during the July 5-11 tracking week. That count bests last week’s sum by the aforementioned 2,363 plays.

Among pop songs, only Demi Lovato’s #20 “Cool for the Summer,” which improved its weekly total by 2,556, enjoyed a greater weekly gain.

“Cheerleader” is the only new addition to the Top 5. Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” rules the pop radio airplay chart for a fourth week.
