Officially a top forty hit on the Billboard Country Airplay chart (ahead of its official radio impact date), Sam Hunt’s new country single “House Party” is working its way toward a debut on the Billboard Hot 100.

This week, it makes its inaugural appearance on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.

“House Party” appears at #16 on the chart, which lists the top songs that have yet to appear on the actual Hot 100.

Hunt’s previous singles “Leave the Night On” and “Take Your Time” hold peaks of #30 and #20, respectively, on the Hot 100. The latter, which is now earning airplay at the pop, adult contemporary and hot adult contemporary formats, appears at #41 on the most recent Hot 100.

Effective May 24, “House Party” had driven nearly 180,000 paid downloads in the US.
