Ratings: Justin Bieber Roast Falls Short of Charlie Sheen’s Record

Comedy Central’s Roast of Justin Bieber unsurprisingly drew strong adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and total viewership marks.

Those numbers did not, however, flirt with the record levels for the 2011 Roast of Charlie Sheen.

Monday’s Bieber roast drew a strong 2.56 adults 18-49 rating, an even stronger 3.54 adults 18-34 rating and 4.399 million total viewers. First among cable programs in those demos and fourth in total viewership (behind all three hours of the post-WrestleMania WWE RAW), the broadcast was an undeniable success for Comedy Central.

The aforementioned Sheen roast, however, drew a 4.5 in adults 18-49, a 6.2 in adults 18-34 and 6.4 million total viewers.

Short of the Sheen records, the Bieber roast did manage to outdraw the recent James Franco and Roseanne specials. To date, only the Sheen and Jeff Foxworthy roasts attracted larger audiences.
