Grammys: Kendrick Lamar, Eminem Win Key Rap Awards

One of last year’s biggest Grammy Awards upsets concerned Kendrick Lamar, who lost the Best Rap Album race to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

This year, Kendrick Lamar went two for two at the Grammy Awards ceremony.

Kendrick Lamar’s “i” won for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance. It beat out “Anaconda,” “Bound 2,” “We Dem Boyz” and “0 to 100/The Catch Up” in the former category and “3005,” “Rap God,” “0 to 100/The Catch Up” and “All I Need is You” in the latter.

Eminem was also a big rap victor this year. His “The Monster” (with Rihanna) won for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, while his “MMLP2” took home the Best Rap Album trophy.
