One Direction’s “Steal My Girl” Debuts at #44 at Pop (Updated)

The recipient of heavy opening day airplay, One Direction’s “Steal My Girl” begins its run within the Top 50 on Mediabase’s rolling pop airplay chart.

The song’s opening day play count of 773 ranks as the 44th-largest for the entire seven day period between September 23 and September 29.

“Steal My Girl” starts even stronger from an audience perspective. Its single day impression count of 7.02 million ranks #31 for the September 23-29 window.

While the song is also expected to score at Hot AC, it did not open within that format’s Top 50.

“Steal My Girl,” which is currently #2 on iTunes behind Jason Aldean’s “Just Gettin’ Started,” is the lead single from forthcoming album “FOUR.”
