After dipping to scary lows last week, FX’s new Thursday comedies “Married” and “You’re the Worst” enjoyed welcome rebounds this week.
Neither comedy suddenly located a huge audience, but both demonstrated valuable percentage improvement in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic.
10PM comedy “Married,” which slipped to a 0.2 adults 18-49 rating with 0.54 million viewers last week, rallied back to a 0.4 rating with 634,000 viewers.
While the viewership count was lower, the adults 18-49 number matches that posted by the series’ second episode on July 24. The show drew a 0.6 rating on its July 17 premiere.
Like “Married,” 10:30PM series “You’re the Worst” doubled last week’s adults 18-49 rating to score a 0.4 this week.
Unlike “Married,” that ties the show’s premiere number as a series high. The two episodes that aired in between that July 17 premiere and this week’s broadcast drew a 0.3 and 0.2.
Viewership for “You’re the Worst” clocked in at 565,000. Ahead of last week’s number, it trails those posted by the July 17 and 24 episodes.
