The CW’s “Reign” Staying on Thursdays, “The Originals” Moves

Of the three CW newcomers that will remain on the schedule next season, two will stay in their existing locations.

Only “The Originals,” which aired this season at 8PM on Tuesdays, is making a move.

The CW announced Thursday that dramas “Reign” and “The 100” will retain their respective Thursday at 9PM and Wednesday at 9PM slots when the network commences its 2014-15 season. Their respective “The Vampire Diaries” and “Arrow” lead-ins will also stay put.

“The Originals,” meanwhile, heads to Mondays, where it will kick off the night. New series “Jane the Virgin” assumes the Monday at 9PM slot.

The CW moves new series “The Flash” to 8PM as a lead-in for veteran “Supernatural.” Wednesdays and Thursdays will remain unchanged, while Friday will feature an hour of “Whose Line is it Anyway” (one original and one encore) followed by “America’s Next Top Model.”

“iZombie,” “The Messengers,” “Hart of Dixie” and “Beauty and the Beast” join at midseason.
