Katy Tiz’ “Big Bang” Debuts on Hot 100, Paramore Hits New Peak

Katy Tiz’ “The Big Bang” is starting to make a big splash.

After gaining healthy traction at pop radio and on iTunes, the British singer’s cover of Rock Mafia’s track officially makes its Billboard Hot 100 debut.

Number 100 on this week’s chart, the song, which is at #27 and rising at Top 40 radio and #75 and potentially rising on iTunes, will likely continue to ascend Billboard’s definitive chart in the coming weeks.

If it ascends just three more places, it will officially pass the original version’s #98 peak.

— While Katy Tiz’ song makes its first appearance on the Hot 100, Paramore’s recent chart staple “Ain’t it Fun” continues moving higher. The track, already the biggest hit of the band’s career, ascends one spot to #13 on this week’s chart. Still a rising force at Top 40 radio, where it is currently the 7th-most-played song, “Ain’t it Fun” likely has more rungs to climb.

— Fueled by the act’s performance on “The Voice,” Rixton’s breakthrough “Me & My Broken Heart” catapults to a new peak of number 14 on this week’s Hot 100.
