FX’s “The Americans” Ratings Rise as Strong Season Continues

Critical marks for season two of FX’s “The Americans” remain off the charts, and the constant raving might finally be translating into ratings growth.

For the first time in several weeks, the FX series enjoyed a lift in the adults 18-49 demographic.

While this week’s 0.5 rating is far from a blockbuster sum, it does represent welcome growth for a show that seemed stuck at a 0.4.

Of course, given that the show already received its third season renewal, the slight weekly uptick has no impact on the length of the show’s FX run.

Wednesday’s episode attracted an average audience of 1.37 million viewers.
