Lorde, Katy Perry, Metallica Confirmed as Grammys Performers

With its broadcast of the 56th Annual Grammy Awards less than three weeks away, CBS is kicking its promotional campaign into high gear.

In conjunction with that effort, CBS announced several high-profile performers for the telecast, which airs on January 26.

According to CBS’ Tuesday press release, nominated artists Lorde and Katy Perry, who dominated the 2013 pop world with their respective hits “Royals” and “Roar,” will both be performing during the ceremony.

Other newly confirmed acts, who join the previously announced Daft Punk, Imagine Dragons, Kendrick Lamar, P!nk, Nate Ruess, Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Blake Shelton on the bill, include Metallica (with Lang Lang), Robin Thicke (with Chicago), Nile Rodgers, Pharrell and Stevie Wonder.

The latter three will perform alongside Daft Punk.
