“Total Divas” Ratings Grow Despite Loss of “Kardashians” Lead-in

Sunday’s “Total Divas” episode did not deliver series high ratings, but it certainly put forth the show’s most impressive performance to date.

Despite losing the benefit of massive “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” lead-in support, the E! reality series actually grew in both the adults 18-49 and total viewer columns.

The episode, centered around Eva Marie’s audition as a ring announcer and Nikki’s relationship with John Cena, drew a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating with 1.41 million viewers. Last week’s broadcast posted a 0.6 with 1.26 million.

Impressive in its own right, the growth is particularly meaningful given previous question marks about the show’s ability to draw on its own. This past September, ratings for the final two summer episodes tanked when “Divas” lost its coveted “Kardashians” lead-in.
