Blockbuster Dwight Howard Trade Confirmed; Bynum, Iguodala Move

Just as the Dwight Howard trade rumors appeared to be going silent comes confirmation that a deal has finally been reached to move the disgruntled big man.

The Los Angeles Lakers will acquire the NBA’s top center as part of a blockbuster four-team trade involving several All-Stars.

In exchange for giving up Howard and Jason Richardson, the Orlando Magic will receive Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic, Moe Harkless and draft picks from the Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets.

Philadelphia will receive Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, while the Nuggets will pick up Andre Iguodala.

Pau Gasol had been a rumored piece of the deal, but indications are that he will no longer be leaving Los Angeles. That leaves the Lakers with a stacked starting lineup including Howard, Gasol, Metta World Peace, Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant.
