UFC President “Disgusted” With Nate Marquardt, Says He’ll Never Return

UFC President Dana White kept his lips sealed regarding the specific medical issue that resulted in Nate Marquardt being pulled from the UFC on Versus 4 fight with Rick Story and subsequently fired from the UFC, but he did offer some stern words for the veteran fighter.

“I’m disgusted with him,” said White on the UFC Pre-Game Show, who declared that Marquardt will not be welcomed back to the leading mixed martial arts promotion.

White was unable to shed light on why Marquardt failed his medicals, but he noted, “For me to come out and say he’s not going to fight in the UFC anymore, it’s gotta be pretty serious.”

As for whether the mixed martial arts community will side with White or Marquardt, White explained that judgment will need to be reserved until Marquardt reveals the extent of his medical situation.

“He’s going to have to ‘man up’ and tell the world why he didn’t pass,” White advised on what would allow mixed martial arts commentators to discuss the appropriate reaction to the Marquardt issue.
