Vlad Matyushenko, Seth Petruzelli Fight On Prelims; UFC 122 Results

UFC 122 kicked off in Germany with a series of preliminary bouts, and the official results are now in.

As the European audience geared for the big Nate Marquardt vs. Yushin Okami main-event, fighters like Vladimir Matyushenko and Seth Petruzelli competed on the undercard. These bouts may or may not air on Spike TV’s broadcast in the United States, but given the ever-competitive nature of the UFC roster, none of the fighters were approaching these bouts lightly.

Who made an impact on the preliminary portion of the show? Results follow:

Carlos Eduardo Rocha b. Kris McCray via submission (kneebar) at 2:21 of Round One
Karlos Vemola b. Seth Petruzelli via TKO (strikes) at 3:46 of Round One
Kyle Noke b. Rob Kimmons via submission (rear naked choke) at 1:33 of Round Two
Pascal Krauss b. Mark Scanlon via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
Vladimir Matyushenko b. Alexandre “Cacareco” Ferreira via TKO (strikes) at 2:20 of Round One
