From a cultural standpoint, the MTV Video Music Awards have long represented the end of the summer.
Fittingly, this year’s ceremony will play host to one of the stars from earlier in the summer season.
Olandria Carthen, who emerged as a standout (and runner-up) on the most recent season of “Love Island USA,” is present for Sunday’s show at the UBS Arena. She already made an impact at the event, wowing in a red dress on the show’s red carpet.
LL Cool J hosts Sunday’s event, which will be simulcast on CBS at 8PM ET.
