Anticipation was already high for the June 21 release of Gracie Abrams’ new album “The Secret Of Us,” and the artist heightened that excitement with the release of track “Close To You.”

The song proved immediately resonant, capturing strong out-of-the-gate streaming interest. The interest yielded a #49 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, giving Abrams her first solo entry — and highest career chart position — on the listing.

When coupled with her past discography and current single “Risk,” the interest in “Close To You” also thrust Abrams back onto the Billboard Emerging Artists chart at #3.

“Risk,” “Close To You,” and the hotly awaited Taylor Swift collaboration “Us” are among the tracks featured on “The Secret Of Us.”
