After jumping into the Top 5 last week, Madison Beer’s “Make You Mine” could be headed for #1 on this week’s edition of the Mediabase US dance radio chart.

Following the first three days of the April 28-May 4 tracking period, “Make You Mine” is trending toward that first place finish. Its lead is not significant enough to declare early victory — Daniel Allan & Lyrah’s “I Just Need” and Calvin Harris & Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Lovers In A Past Life” are both well within striking distance — but its sizable rate of airplay gain provides reason for optimism.

And even if it misses the top spot this week, “Make You Mine” would remain a strong contender to reach #1 in the very near future.

Not simply a dance hit, “Make You Mine” is charting inside the Top 30 at pop radio. It has also found success on the streaming front, with combined activity thus far yielding a high of #9 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100.
