Pop star Bebe Rexha is again using her immense social reach to champion a positive of one’s body.
Friday afternoon, the artist shared an unedited picture on her Instagram account. The picture finds Rexha showcasing her true bikini body.
“I probably should [have] photoshopped my stomach and made it look flat,” writes Rexha in the caption. “I probably should [have] photoshopped my legs to make them look thinner … made myself look taller and smoothed my legs.
“But I didn’t….here’s what a real woman looks like on Instagram without photoshop.”
A message of body positivity is not new for Rexha, who has embraced her curves in multiple past Instagram posts. She also received attention for calling out fashion designers who seemed hesitant to develop dresses for her curvier figure.
The new post is sure to resonate with Instagram users — and thus bring plenty of exposure to her message. It amassed nearly 100,000 likes in its first 15 minutes.
