Ariana Grande Ranks As Top Female On Billboard Artist 100 Following “Thank U, Next” Release

Ariana Grande takes #2 on the overall chart — and first place among females.

The release of the instant smash “thank u, next” and the “breathin” music video do not propel Ariana Grande to the very top of the Billboard Artist 100.

They do, however, help position her as the top female act on this week’s chart.

Grande takes #2 on the overall chart, which ranks the top artists in America based on factors like album sales, song consumption and social media activity. Grande only trails all-male band Queen.

Lady Gaga, who takes #3 on the overall chart, ranks as the week’s #2 female.

Cardi B takes #8 among all artists and #3 among females, while Halsey grabs #10 on the overall chart and #4 from a female-only perspective.

Barbra Streisand, the #16 overall artist, is the week’s #5 female act.

Other high-ranking female performers include Lauren Daigle (#6 female, #19 overall), Pistol Annies (#7 female, #23 overall), Ella Mai (#8 female, #25 overall), Camila Cabello (#9 female, #36 overall), and Billie Eilish (#10 female, #40 overall).
