Update 2: The Justin Timberlake appearance is evidently back on.

After initially advertising Timberlake for the November 1 “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” NBC pulled the entertainment superstar from its official website.

It has since restored his name to the listing. Timberlake will indeed appear as an interview guest.

Sunny Suljic (originally advertised for October 30) is also set to appear for an interview, while Pistol Annies will take the stage for a performance.

Update: For a brief window earlier Wednesday, the official “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” website said that Justin Timberlake and Pistol Annies would be appearing on the November 1 episode.

The listing was quickly removed from the website. A revised version was then posted Thursday.

The revised version features Pistol Annies (who are set to perform in support of their new album) but does not include Justin Timberlake.

NBC has booked a date for the next interaction between Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon.

According to NBC, Timberlake will appear on the November 1 “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” In addition to an interview, Timberlake will almost certainly participate in some sort of comedy sketch.

The episode will also feature a performance by country trio Pistol Annies.
