This past weekend, Headline Planet revealed that Drake’s “In My Feelings” was on track for #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Billboard just formally confirmed the news. The song, which was #6 last week, indeed claims #1 on this week’s listing. It seizes the throne from Drake’s own “Nice For What.”
The Billboard Hot 100 ranks songs from all genres based on streams, sales and radio airplay. “In My Feelings” enjoyed mammoth gains on the streaming and sales fronts, due in part to a viral web challenge.
“In My Feelings” also posted huge tracking week airplay gains at rhythmic, urban and pop radio.
