With tracks from Drake’s “Scorpion” making their mark on the chart, Ella Mai’s “Boo’d Up” fell out of the Top 10 on last week’s Billboard Hot 100.

It does not simply return to that region this week — it rises to a new peak.

Up six places, “Boo’d Up” earns #5 on this week’s edition of the all-genre Hot 100.

In addition to ongoing support for the original version, “Boo’d Up” benefited from a full week of activity on the remix with Nicki Minaj and Quavo.

The Hot 100 position accounts for streams, sales and radio airplay for all versions of the song.

As it is her first career single to make the Hot 100, “Boo’d Up” obviously represents Ella Mai’s first career Top 5.
