Liam Payne’s #1 pop radio hit “Strip That Down (featuring Quavo)” just reached a new multi-platinum tier in the United States.

According to the RIAA, the song crossed the 3x platinum threshold on May 31, 2018.

The award confirms 3 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Strip That Down” marked the One Direction member’s debut solo single. As noted, it reached #1 on the pop radio airplay chart.

It peaked at #10 on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100 song chart.
