Going into the most recent tracking week, Drake’s “God’s Plan” was already firing on all cylinders. It was posting mammoth streaming numbers, strong sales figures and receiving an impressive amount of multi-format airplay.

As this week began, Drake released the very buzzy music video. In addition to attracting an impressive number of its own views, the video ignited additional sales and radio interest.

All that activity adds up to a simple reality: “God’s Plan” is still the hottest song in America.

“God’s Plan” spends a fifth consecutive week atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
