Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s collaborative new single “The Middle” launched Tuesday morning.
By Tuesday afternoon, it had earned a spot on the 102.7 KIIS FM playlist.
The Los Angeles pop station officially added “The Middle” in conjunction with the January 23 add board.
“The Middle,” it should be noted, is not the only 102.7 KIIS pickup this week. The influential station also formally added Maroon 5’s “Wait” to its playlist.
“Wait” now has the support of the biggest west coast and east coast pop stations. Earlier today, we revealed that New York’s Z100 had added the “Red Pill Blues” single.
Headline Planet’s full pop recap is due by 7PM ET Tuesday. “Wait” and “The Middle” are both expected to have good showings this week.
