As it marked her 24th birthday, December 22, 2017 was already a special day for Meghan Trainor.
It became even more special when boyfriend Daryl Sabara popped the question.
Trainor said yes to his proposal, and the actor and singer-songwriter are now engaged.
Trainor announced the news in an Instagram post; she also shared a video put together by her brother Ryan.
“For my 24th birthday, the love of my life @darylsabara made all of my dreams come true,” wrote Trainor. “He proposed to me under a tunnel of beautiful Christmas lights and surprised me with my family and friends.
“I’m still in shock. I’ve never been this happy! Thank you Daryl, my family and friends for making me feel like a real princess…and thank you @ryan.trainor for this amazing video that I’m gonna watch over and over again.”
The Grammy-winning Trainor will soon appear as a panelist on FOX’s music competition series “The Four.”
