Niall Horan’s debut solo single “This Town” and Justin Bieber and BloodPop’s 2017 collaboration “Friends” have both attained gold status in the United Kingdom.

The BPI reported the news as part of this week’s UK certifications announcement.

The gold awards signify at least 400,000 in UK units.

Released in 2016, “This Town” peaked at #9 on the Official UK Singles Chart.

“Friends” went as high as #2 on the listing.

“This Town” and “Friends” were the only songs to receive gold certifications in the UK this week.
