Despite not launching until the sixth day of the November 19-25 tracking week, the Steve Aoki remix of BTS’ “MIC Drop (featuring Desiigner)” received a healthy amount of pop radio airplay.
Enough airplay, in fact, for a Top 65 position at the format.
Played 148 times during the tracking period, “MIC Drop” ranks as the Mediabase pop panel’s #62 song.
“MIC Drop” received its greatest initial support from Oklahoma’s KJ103. The station, which also ranked as a top supporter for BTS’ previous release “DNA,” played “MIC Drop” 31 times this week.
Chattanooga’s Kiss 103.7 (29 spins) and San Diego’s Channel 933 (10 spins) also rank as big early “MIC Drop” supporters.
