The Chainsmokers’ 2016 hit “Closer (featuring Halsey)” just received an updated accreditation in Australia.
The smash hit has been certified 12x platinum in the Land Down Under.
Issued by ARIA, the accreditation confirms 840,000 in Australian units.
“Closer,” which was released in late July 2016, became a legitimate global smash. It spent a whopping nine weeks at #1 on the ARIA Australian Top 50 Singles Chart.
In reaching 12x platinum in Australia, “Closer” by far becomes the most-certified single for both The Chainsmokers and Halsey.
