When pressed to select her favorite track on mini-album “Nervous System,” singer-songwriter Julia Michaels identified “Worst In Me.”

That song has been confirmed as her new radio single.

In its weekly radio update, Republic reveals that the song is now impacting as the follow-up to “Uh Huh.”

“Worst In Me” has already received airplay from a handful of pop stations. Radio Disney has been a particularly strong supporter; it played the song 19 times during the seven days between September 11 and 17.

“Worst In Me” has also received support from influential New York hot adult contemporary station Fresh 102.7.

The aforementioned “Uh Huh” peaked just inside the Top 40 at pop. It followed Michaels’ breakthrough single “Issues,” which reached the Top 5 at pop radio and earned a double-platinum certification from the RIAA.
