Ratings: The CW’s “Riverdale” Ticks Down, “Supernatural” Rises

Riverdale [The CW]

The preliminary ratings report says that despite increased lead-in support from its “Supernatural” lead-in, The CW’s “Riverdale” turned away last week’s ratings gain.

According to fast national data, Thursday’s “Riverdale” drew a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 1.12 million total viewers. Last week’s episode posted a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating and 1.20 million in the final report.

(Worth noting: Last week’s episode drew a 0.4 in the preliminaries but was then adjusted up to a 0.5 in the finals)

Lead-in “Supernatural” drew a 0.7 rating and 1.82 million in viewership this week. The previous broadcast posted a 0.6 and 1.73 million.

Both finished last among “big five” network programming in their timeslots.
