Disney Channel’s “Liv And Maddie: Cali Style,” “Girl Meets World” and “KC Undercover” all seemed to benefit from their timeslot changes.
Airing Friday evening rather than in primetime, the three series posted substantial viewership gains.
According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, the 5:30PM “Liv And Maddie” drew 1.42 million total viewers. “Girl Meets World” followed with 1.45 million at 6PM, while “KC Undercover” attracted 1.30 million at 7PM.
The previous “Liv And Maddie,” which aired at 8PM on December 2, drew a series low 1.09 million viewers that night. The last “Girl Meets” world drew a series low audience of 1.20 million at 8:30PM that night.
“KC Undercover” last aired at 8PM on December 4; it reached only 1.04 million live+same-day viewers.
The three series also posted episode-to-episode gains in several key youth and young adult demographics.
The gains are, of course, something of a moot point. “Liv And Maddie” and “Girl Meets World” are ending this season, while “KC Undercover” has already been renewed for season three.
