Netflix’s “The Crown” Wins Golden Globe For Best Drama; Star Claire Foy Named Best Actress

The TV Series, Drama portion of the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony is officially over.

Netflix’s “The Crown” won the genre’s final two trophies.

The series itself was named Best TV Series, Drama. Star Claire Foy, meanwhile, took home the Best Actress in a TV Series, Drama prize.

Other series up for the big award were “This Is Us,” “Game Of Thrones,” “Westworld” and “Stranger Things.”

Caitriona Balfe, Evan Rachel Wood, Keri Russell and Winona Ryder contended with Foy for the actress honor.

The only TV category still remaining is Best Actor in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy.
