The song’s closest competition comes from The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey).” The Weeknd’s “Starboy (featuring Daft Punk)” is presently #3 on iTunes, while twenty one pilots’ “Heathens” (#4), and Artists Of Then, Now & Forever’s “Forever Country” (#5) complete the Top 5.
— “This Town” is not the only new release making a splash. The Chainsmokers’ new “All We Know (featuring Phoebe Ryan),” which also premiered Thursday, is currently #10 on the US iTunes chart.
